  This firm agreed to refund my money for an item that was not fit for the purpose in addition to postage costs. They paid a refund for the postage costs into a PayPal account system but I did not have PayPal or want to open an account, especially for such a small amount.
  I queried why the firm could not refund me in the same way as I had paid i.e back to my credit card and they agreed, they did not do so.
  They refunded the item charge but not the postage and kept sending repeated reminders to me by email stating the postage costs were ready for collection. THEY KNEW I DID NOT HAVE PAYPAL SO WHY NOT SEND IT TO MY CREDIT CARD IN THE SAME WAY AS THE ITEM WAS REFUNDED ?.
  
  It took almost 6 weeks to get anything at all and they first of all said they had not received the item back.
  They said if I produced a proof of posting from the post office they would pay me in one go altogether.
  However, after informing them I had a proof of posting they would not give me a mobile number to send a pic to nor would they give me an address to send a copy to.
  
  I think their actions " speak volumes " in that they DID have the item but were saying they did not.
  I do not think they had any intentions of paying the postage refund to my credit card as they said they would.
  
  It is also worth noting that when I originally raised the question of who should pay for the return postage that I wanted to pay for a " signed for " return package but the firm said they would only pay for second class postage BUT would accept responsibility should the item get lost in transit.
  
  I think it is obvious that this firm is prepared to lie and renege on any pledges that it may give to their customers.
